The group's forthcoming album, Classic Creeps is the first in an ongoing series of Fishboy records featuring characters whose lives interconnect to form a bigger story. Eric Michener (singer, songwriter) took inspiration for the album from the profile songs of the early British Invasion (The Kinks, The Who, The Zombies, etc.) after years of making personal mixes of his favorite "songs about fake people." Pushing forward from the concept introduced in 2007's Albatross: How We Failed to Save the Lone Star State with the Power of Rock and Roll, the songs in Classic Creeps each profile a specific character while also introducing a connection to the subject/character of the next song. Michener also placed the characters' songs in alphabetical order, despite the fact that each character's name begins with the letter A. Although the album features Fishboy's characteristic upbeat sound, the songs reveal the flaws and insecurities of each character while unraveling hidden connections and pieces of the larger plot. Classic Creeps is set to be released spring 2011 on HHBTM Records out of Athens, Georgia.

Alberto Simmons' getting bloody noses
he knows the time is coming when the bleeding stops
until that day it comes around
he will continue stressing out
he hates his job but oh he loves his brother
they've got a plot to take the world on with their style
using a rocket and wormhole
go back a dozen years or more

but down in the basement things are starting now to get a little cramped
machines in their masses force the Simons' to relocate their camp

Alberto Simmons has a boss who bullies
his name is Victor Allen Moss and at this time
hes in the breakroom looking round
but oh Alberto can't be found
as Moss Incorporated ends it's work day
the inventory is seeming just a little light
old Alberto never tells
of stolen whistles stolen bells

when I was only 15 or maybe 16
my first true love I found
her name was alyson
she was given a car we drove around
a continental to the airfield
watched planes fly overhead
we swore in ten years we'd be cowboys
or in ten years we'd be dead
but that summer she moved south
to the Mississippi mouth
and he quote in that years year book
in a black italic font
said "you'll miss me, you will miss me when I'm gone"

and in the office up the stairs
I'm now roping rolling chairs
with a lasso made of last weeks neck ties
all at once, I realize
this is not the life I want

So as I write this letter, I feel better
than I have felt in years
when you read this I'll be in Fort Worth
roping my first steer

Alyce Revere she glows from ear to ear

his name is Andre and he is a writer
he tried and he tried
to get Allyson outside
but now a days he doesn't even bother

Andre spent three years all alone
in his car his only home
it was a Lincoln Continental
and Andre with his massive writing skills
obtained a memoir deal
for several hundred thousand dollars
now he lives in a house
with his sister and doubts
that he ever will write again
his new prime directive
is to be a detective
solving mysteries no one can
and who'm I to say what is right or ok
for a perfectly stand up man
like Andre

you are a giant among men

but not the giant people usually think of and
one day you will solve the perfect crime
satisfaction will be sublime
you'll get a write up in the paper
and now over the scanner in a desparate manner
a cry of shock and dispare
an officer's gone, no one knows whats wrong
he vanished to thin air
and Archibald Aspen he starts to askin
"who will save the day? wheres Andre?"

Archibald Aspen the worlds greatest cop
didn't quiet set out to be
promoted within from his job taking fingerprints
when they caught wind of his photographic memory


known across the earth
but fame to him is worthless
worth less than the shoes on his feet
he'd rather live quaint
sculpt and paint
but he needs the paycheck just to feed his family


then one night on his route
saw two men sneaking out
of an abandoned factory door
they saw each others faces
and knew if they exscaped
they'd be tracked down tomorrow for sure
so with a blow to the head
Archibald fell to the floor


Archibald Aspen has one only son
born on new years day
Millennium Aspen is now ten years old
his little league team calls him Aspen2k
his mother comes home and she calls for Millennium
tells him she has some bad news
is dads dissapeared and everyone fears
that he's lying somewhere beaten battered and bruised


all at once Millennium jumps and swears that its time to attack
he says "mark my words I will search and I'll search
till I bring my father back"
Mrs. Aspen she smiles
pats her son on the back

I was born on the bathroom floor
of the morning that the world would end
and when the day blew the clouds away

yesterday my dad they say
just vanished out of site
I look for clues and when I do
I meet andre the private eye
I fill him in and within minutes
we're a crime fighting team
we follow clues and prints of shoes
to a downtown factory

as we sneak inside
I see an owl with eyes so wide
shaking his head as if saying "don't go in!"
but once we're there
I see my father tied to a rolling chair
and two men constructing an ominous machine
it seems, that this must be and job for

Millennium Aspen and Andre Revere rounded the corner to discover Archibald tied to a chair, the sinister figures of Adrian and Alberto Simmons perched above the old man. Millennium cried out for his father leaping forward to untie him when he felt his feet snared by a force from behind and he collapsed to the floor. Unable to move he saw Alberto emerge from behind Andre clubbing him unconscious. Millenium awoke tied to the enormous rocket in the center of the Moss factory floor, a still unconscious Andre to his right and poor Archibald to his left. Father and son looked at each other pensively listening to the haunting cry of the night owl wondering what was to come next.

but little do they know that standing waiting outside
