Recorded in 2004 and 2005 by Mark Sonnabaum, Little D was the first Fishboy album to feature a full band as well as showcase multiple Denton, Texas musician guest stars, notably: John "Corn Mo" Cunningham on Asian Grain, Paul Slavens on Cheer Up Great Pumpkin, and C.S. Flemmons of the Baptist Generals portraying/singing as an amnesia victim in Start Again (The Story of Two Feuding Denton, TX Neighbors)

Thematically the album is ment to express the highs and lows of living in the sleepy town of Denton: crowded and hyperactive one moment, sparse and calm the next.

Originally self released with Business Deal Records imprint out of Austin in 2005.

my christmas tree came back today
angry he'd been thrown away
last, last December
my christmas tree knocked on my door
told me about the trip he'd taken back from the landfill
I told him I was sorry and I didn't realize
christmas trees have feelings just like you or I
so I shook his branch and I apologized
and we played pingpong in the basement
my christmas tree came back today
told me he had no where to stay
so I offered him our guest bedroom
now my christmas tree has been here for weeks
I've not the heart to ask him to leave
he's the worst house guest ever
and the moral of the story can be said like this
christmas trees they never wanna call it quits
so before you throw your tree out chop it up to bits
and have a happy new year
