I'm a volcano
I sit around all day no
I don't do much at all
until the lava falls
out of my brain

Babyfood Jar

There is a babyfood jar of ash from Mt St Helens
on the shelf above the desk atop the stairs
and its been in my family since I was seven
but I do not know the reason that it's there
so today I'm gonna take a chance and drink it
mix it in my mornings chocolate milk
and just maybe I will gain volcano powers
maybe not but maybe I will
and if you're sitting on the fence about something just do it
cause you may not get another chance again
even if it seems like its something really stupid
well it may not be so stupid in the end

One week passes
by like cold molasses
I cant find my glasses
I don't need them now
if dollar bills were ashes
I'd be flushed with cashes
I burn all the grasses
barbecued a cow
just by walking through an open pasture
talking natural disaster
maybe I'll prevent disaster yet
but anyone who tries to kiss me
gonna get a little crispy
maybe they'll forgive me
if I get my self real wet
I'll dip my head in water
I'll get the water from the
sinking to the ocean bottom I will dip my head in water

cause I can't bare to see them bake
